Nicklaus/Palmer painting on sale at Honda Classic for charity

Raffle tickets for the purchase of this painting of a pensive Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer studying a putt are on sale at the Honda Classic.

Part of the proceeds of the sale of the portrait goes to the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.

The painting is valued at $18,000.

The 64-inch-by-34-inch painting was done Thursday and Friday at the Harbourside Place booth at the Honda Classic by artist David Banegas.

Nicklaus plans to sign the painting on Sunday.

The painting is donated by ARTLANTIC – Fine Art Gallery in Jupiter.

Raffle tickets are $20.

The painting is being circulated around the Honda Classic so fans can view it.
