Harbourside Place Presenting Sponsor of Friends of Jupiter Beach Food and Wine Festival

Harbourside Place is pleased to announce it will be the Presenting Sponsor of the Friends of Jupiter Beach 5th Annual Food & Wine Festival, a family-friendly jubilee set to take place Saturday, May 17, 2014. The event will celebrate 5 years of the best of North County’s culinary talents alongside the 20th anniversary of Friends of Jupiter Beach.

The festival will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Jupiter’s Riverwalk Events Plaza, adjacent to Harbourside Place. Guests will have the opportunity to sample the area’s favorite foods, wines and beverages from more than 45 purveyors; learn about the Town’s conservation and preservation efforts; and take home mementos of their day with pictures from the Harbourside Place photo booth.

“We are honored to take part in this year’s Food and Wine Festival,” explains Nicholas Mastroianni III, Vice President of Allied Capital & Development of South Florida, developer of Harbourside Place. “We see this partnership between Harbourside Place and Friends of Jupiter Beach as an opportunity to further our connection with the community and offer a taste of what’s to come when we open.”

He continues, “As we have been working with the Town of Jupiter to create a downtown destination that serves as host to the Town’s most beloved events, the opening of Harbourside Place will allow us to expand next year’s festival down the Riverwalk Promenade to the Harbourside Amphitheatre.”

Area restaurants such as Būccan, Buonasera, Boulevard Café, Tabica, Talay Thai Cuisine and Too Bizaare have been present at the event the past four years. The 2014 lineup looks equally appetizing, including both tried and true favorites and new participants.
Too Bizaare, a local favorite that will relocate to Harbourside Place upon open, will offer a sneak peak into the annual event, hosting a Tapas and Tastings afternoon on Saturday April 12, 2014 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets to the intimate, 20-person, food and wine tasting are available at www.eventbrite.com.

Tickets to this annually-anticipated event are currently on sale online. All proceeds benefit Friends of Jupiter Beach, a grassroots, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to keeping Jupiter Beach clean and dog-friendly since 1994.
