Replicas of Nina and Pinta sail into Jupiter’s Harbourside Place

Take a sailing trip back in time starting Friday, March 24 with a visit to replicas of the Nina and Pinta, two wooden ships Christopher Columbus sailed to the New World from Spain in 1492.

The four-masted Nina is 65 feet long. The three-masted Pinta is 85 feet long.

The ships will be docked at Harbourside Place in Jupiter until Wednesday, March 29.

Admission charges are $8.00 for adults, $ 7.00 for seniors, and $6.00 for students 5 – 16.   Children 4 and under are free.

The ships are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  No reservations are necessary.

Teachers or organizations wishing to schedule a 30-minute guided tour with a crew member should call 1-787-672-2152 or email [email protected] .

The minimum for a tour is 15 persons. There is no maximum.  The charge is $5.00 per person. Reservations are required for group tours.
