Jupiter, FL – (May 18, 2015) – Harbourside Place, Jupiter’s premier waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is hosting its first annual Memorial Day celebration on May 24 to honor those who have served and continue to serve this country. All are welcome to attend the event, beginning at 12 pm, which includes family activities, a commemoration ceremony and free waterfront concert.

The commemoration at 2 pm will include a National Anthem performance by Stephanie Pankewich of the Jupiter High School chorus, recognition of the American Legion and a time of remembrance. Keynote speakers are Congressman Patrick Murphy and a 3-star General from Wounded Warriors of South Florida. Developer of Harbourside Place, Nicholas Mastroianni III, will reveal the exciting plans of The Veterans’ Memorial at Harbourside Place.

American country music duo Brothers Osborne, known for their hit song “Rum,” and country singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe, known for her duo with Blake Shelton in “Lonely Tonight,” will perform a free concert on the waterfront at 3 pm, with show openers Cassidy Diana and Ashley Briggs.

Families can enjoy an afternoon of family fun with activities including skee-ball, soccer shootout, basketball challenge, water games, surf simulation machine, face painting, a balloon artist and more to celebrate America’s freedom. Family activities are from 12- 5:30 pm.
